My Bio: Kevin Dwayne Muldrew Sr

Hello,

I am a 55yr old African American, with 3 boys and 1 girl, ages 6 to 22. I am taking the Paralegal Studies course. I currently have a diploma in Medical Insurance Coding and Billing, and an Associate of the Arts Degree in Healthcare Management. I am taking the Paralegal Course because I find it hard to understand it sometimes and the only way to understand it was to enroll. The other reason is the simple fact that I have seen people get screwed in court for the small fact that they didn't understand what the attorney or judge was explaining to them. 
I want to be able to help them with that. So with my interaction with clients as a Paralegal, I want to make sure that the clients understand the documents they are signing and have a full understanding of the legal process that is taking place.

As for my Professional goal, that is a good question. I don't know what that is at this time. I have been to a few colleges in my time. I have taken courses that I thought I wanted to pursue as a career choice. but to no avail have I  achieved what I thought I wanted to be.

I can say this whatever it is professionally I end up doing I am going to try a be the best that I can possibly be at it.

My goal is to be the best I can be for myself and my children. I want to be a good example for my children. I want to know that whatever you want out of life you have to get it, not to expect anything to be given to them. 

Nothing in life is free. It comes with a price, and that price is hard work, determination, and dedication. I will not let anything hold me back from achieving whatever it is that I  am striving to acquire. 
 
I try to keep that thought process throughout. No matter what the situation my be. My motto is " Stay ready, so I don't have to get ready".
