My previous career gave me valuable experiences in leadership, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and working effectively under pressure. Through my education, I have built on those skills while gaining knowledge in case management, crisis and trauma intervention, mental health, addiction, ethics, and community resources.
I am especially interested in working with individuals experiencing crisis, domestic violence, homelessness, mental health challenges, or substance use concerns. I believe in meeting people where they are, listening without judgment, and recognizing that every person's situation is different.
My goal is to build a career in Human and Social Services where I can use both my education and life experience to advocate for others, connect people with resources, and help individuals move toward greater stability and a better quality of life.
My personal goal is to continue growing and learning while building a career that has meaning and allows me to make a difference in the lives of others. I want to continue strengthening my communication skills, confidence, and knowledge while maintaining a healthy balance between my career and personal life.
Professional Goals:
My professional goal is to begin a career in Human and Social Services where I can use my education, life experience, and previous leadership skills to help others. I am especially interested in crisis intervention, domestic violence services, homelessness, and substance use services. I hope to work in case management or a similar position where I can advocate for clients, connect them with resources, and support them as they work toward stability and positive change.
