My professional goal is to inspire and educate young minds as a teacher, and to help them love learning. I want to empower students to help them reach their full potential. I want to make a positive contribution to the Education Department.

My name is Bridgett Hayes and I was born and raised in Hammond, La. I'm one of 2 children, and one of 17 grandchildren. I'm a funny, loving, outgoing, and goofy person. I am a RGM at Taco Bell in Ponchatoula, La and I've been with this company for 10 years. I always wanted to be a teacher but when I had my first child my life plans went in a different direction. Now I am in school at Bryan and Stratton and I am earning a degree in Early Childhood Education. I am so excited because not only do I want to be a teacher but I want to show my 5 children that it's never too late to chase your dreams.
