I’m looking forward to a new career in my life. I decided to go to school to be a paralegal. I chose Bryant and Stratton College. I have worked in different types of jobs but decided to start a career. I have mostly been in the restaurant business and love the fast pace and the dealing with the public. I feel working as a paralegal will be similar in some ways such as dealing with the public but of course on a more personal level. I have always been interested in law and look forward to having the opportunity to show what I have learned and what I can accomplish for the company that chooses me to work for them. I learn fast working hands on and even though I have gone to school I know that working in a law office is different and need to learn how the office works and follow the team rules. I’m a very loyal person and will dedicate all that I have to give to do what it takes to be part of the team to be as successful as we can be. I work well with different personalities, and I am very dependable. I look forward to meeting my future new career in the right law office and team.

My goal is to utilize my degree to become a paralegal. I would like to work for a company who will give me the oppurtunity to practice the skills I learned at Bryant Stratton College. I have started over in both my personal and professional life. I divorced almost 10 years ago and decided to start college to change my life by starting a new career. I am a very loyal person and look forward to my new beginnings.

I am a mom of five children . I started young in life and really didn't have the time to go to college but it was always my dream. I wanted to be a architect but life changed. I raised my children to be active in sports and in school. Not all of them were college bound but did get tradeschool certificates. I just wanted them to know how important it was to get an education. My first one was a welder and now is an operational manager for a gym. My second went into the Navy and was on the U.S.S. Kentucky Nuclear Submarine and got his education. He is a Electronic Engineer. My third child is a homemaker and is very crafty opening her own business. My fourth child got a scholarship in wrestling and currently goes to North Central College in Illinois. It is fun talking about school with each other. My last one is in high school and is interested in becoming a lawyer. So I'm a very proud mom and I'm very happy I decided to go to college. I'm 50 years old now and can't wait to become a paralegal for the rest of my days in the work force. I'm young at heart and enjoy travelling and my family.
