Detail oriented medical coding student, completing an associate's degree in “Medical Coding and Reimbursement.” Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, such as ICD Diagnostic coding, Human Disease and pharmacology, Data analysis and decision making, clinical and documentation, and education and management services with hands on experience in course work with real life coding of patient’s diagnosis. Strong analytical skills and commitment to accuracy and compliance with healthcare guidelines.
Human Disease and Drug Pharmacology

This assignment reflects/meets many of the Program Outcomes, including the ability to demonstrate competency to work with health information data at many levels, analyzing the results of coded data, abstracting information from medical charts and evaluating the accuracy and completeness of the patient's records. Also, I have studied medical documentation that shows via operative reports or path reports that there were justification based on the post-op diagnosis.
