I am a newly graduated board certificate eligible Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a robust clinical background in managing acutely ill adult and geriatric patients in high-acuity settings. My experience as a registered nurse has equipped me with advanced assessment skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to manage patients with complex comorbidities. I have worked collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to contribute to diagnostic evaluations, develop differential diagnoses, and support evidence-based treatment planning throughout my career. I bring a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering safe, patient-centered care while continuing to grow my clinical and procedural skills.
As I transition into practice, I am in pursuit of a supportive and structured environment that promotes mentorship and professional development. Based on current market trends in Connecticut, acute care roles average around $126,000 annually, I am seeking a competitive salary in the range of $120,000–$130,000, depending on shift differentials, and total compensation package. I’m also looking for a strong benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement contributions, paid time off, support for continuing education and malpractice insurance.
I am particularly interested in positions that offer a structured period of onboarding with clear supervision and mentorship, along with transparent productivity metrics, that support both clinical growth and quality patient care. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes while developing into a confident, highly competent acute care nurse practitioner.
